I wanted to say thank you for your book ‘The Art of Digital Influence’. God has been calling me lately to speak out as a filmmaker and Christian content creator but it’s been a difficult process of wrestling with doubt, confusion, and practical barriers like limited time and money. Recently after taking a few hours to do some journaling and prayer, I was asking God to give me wisdom and clarity with what this content journey should look like. That following week I started reading your book and it really feels like an answer to prayer. It’s helped me narrow in on practically how I can use my gifts as a Christian filmmaker to build a community online, and it was also encouraging to know that it’s normal to experience ‘labour pains’ when you are close to starting something new and experiencing opposition. So anyways, I just wanted to reach out and say thank you for putting that book together, it is having an impact on my life.

The Christian Content Creator class by Al Descheneau has been an invaluable tool for my personal and spiritual growth. It has helped me to have an understanding of how to apply my faith to my business practices by developing principal based habits and decision-making. Al himself is perfectly suited to lead this kind of class and discussion. He brings his years of church leadership and counseling experience and it’s evident. Not only does he listen exceptionally well but he also pays attention to each individual person’s strengths and weaknesses and addresses them with maturity and gentleness in a way to help you be your best self. With the help of Al’s wisely designed group setting, I have also been able to grow and learn while making a community with fellow Christian content creators. The fact that he offers this class and his time each week for free is a beautiful example of serving your fellow man. I have encouraged all of my Christian content creator friends to sign up for his next class and I would love to continue to be involved with future mentoring. Al not only helps you to see your potential but also fulfill it and inspires you to want to do the same for others.

CrossingTomi – Content Creator
I took Ninja’s class for content creators. It helped me figure out what my priorities are as a streamer, and how to gear my content towards those priorities. At the beginning of the class I was hyper focused on competitive Splatoon, but throughout the course I realized the burden on my heart to connect with people and the importance of relationships. Thank you, Allan.

Gabriel – Content Creator
As a full time volunteer in ministry, I decided to look into streaming to help raise some funds. In doing so, I came across Pastor Al and the communities around him. In taking his mentorship class, my focus has been changing from my stream just raising funds to it being God’s stream, and becoming a ministry of its own. Pastor Al is pioneering a new era of online ministry through streaming, and it brings tears to my eyes when I think how fortunate I am to be involved. None of this would be possible without his guidance, course material and mentorship.

DiscoBear – Content Creator
So it’s no secret that XN is a huge part of my life and walk with Christ. I found him in 2020 when the world was in lockdown on Not the Bee (The Babylon Bee non-satire social website) and started watching him because he shared his twitch link there. Since then found such amazing creators who rep the name of Jesus! Thanks again brother for all the love, the support, the guidance. Very thankful for you.

Chaplain Clay: I found XtianNinja on Twitch and started watching his streams, He has been an encouragement to me to create quality content not just for people, but to show Christ through it. He has given me inspiration and I have had the honor to see how you can connect and affect others through playing games and giving them a place they feel welcomed.

RazzyRu – Digital Artist
It has been a great privilege to be part of XtianNinja’s community over the past year. For me it has been a welcoming warm place to hang out during my evenings at home. A place full of fun, games, laughs and thought provoking devotionals and ideas. A place full of real people with real emotions, lives and struggles. That might seem an odd thing to say as it is entirely online, with the community spread around different countries. All of this would not have been possible without XtianNinja who has shaped and guided the direction of the channel and who has shown himself to be committed to this work and the many people whose lives he has touched. What he is doing would not be possible in a normal walk in church setting, as many of the people who come on line do not fit into the usual mould. He does not shy away from difficult subjects or from telling the truths about God, yet he does it in an inviting, chatty, friendly way and the discussions are very real.

SisPineapple – Gov’t Worker
XtianNinja’s channel has helped me throughout the year. I work from home, I live in the country. I don’t get out much, but every Twitch stream I watch makes me feel closer to humanity. I am reminded through XtianNinja’s teachings that I am still a Christian and I need to demonstrate that to my family. I believe there is a large segment of our population that is lonely and hurting, and that his teachings and his fun stream can reach these people and help them like he has helped me.

Pastor Al is a light in the world to the gamers on Twitch who would never darken the doors of a church. He has cultivated a safe, welcoming and Christ-centered community that people are glad to be a part of. This year I was privileged to be part of the TACO training group. Pastor Al is training other Christian creators how to make the best impact with their ministry and reach people for Christ. No one else out there is providing this type of high-quality training! It has helped me to improve my podcast, encouraged me during the tough times, and partner with other creators.

Diana – Podcaster
Pastor Al is right on with the bible, he does not sugar coat anything. I love his honesty and his friendship. He has learned a lot over the time he has been streaming and have helped many others become better streamers. I hope he can continually do what he does. He has put so much time and effort into his stream and others. He should be rewarded greatly here and in Heaven. Becoming a stronger streamer and our walk with the “LORD” is the most important thing we can do. Share the LOVE of GOD with the darkness that is in Twitch. I love the community he has built as well. Become friends with many he has encouraged me with continuing with my Blessing Boat events so that more christian streamers can be the light that flickers in the darkness. More candles lit the better. His class which he is not charging for allows me to see streaming as a different way to communicate God’s love with people who may not know who Jesus is.

Warrior of Light – Streamer
Pastor Al is as hurt and broken as me, but he manages to be cheerful anyway (not always of course, but often enough to touch me). He and his people accepted me when my original church wouldn’t. He puts up with me when I have got to be silly, and he cheers me on when I open up, reassuring me that I’m not whining. He is even more of a geek than I am, and just as much a Jesus geek. That means a lot.
