It has been a season of significant changes at home, as XtianNinja, and at the TACO Network, so I want to sharing some important news for donors and exciting news about where we are headed. I’ve said it a million times, but it truly can’t be understated how blessed I am to have you in my corner, allowing me to do this work.
Donor Update: No Firm Answers Yet
As I “graduate” from the New Ventures program, we’ve hit a logistical transition. The church I attend, and am planning to work with on some awesome projects, has said that they won’t be processing my donations, which gives us until the end of March to establish a new system. Fear not, though, as there is a plan in motion!
- We have contacted The Great Commission Foundation to set up a permanent system that connects directly to TACO and works across both the US and Canadian borders.
- Our initial meeting with them is scheduled for March 17th, which is a tight timeline.
- I’ve reached out to Bayview Glen (my previous sponsor church) to request an extension through the end of April, and I’m hoping for a “double portion of grace” there.
There is nothing for you to do right now, but I wanted to keep you informed as we navigate these administrative waters.
Family Update
Many of you have been following Anita’s health journey, and your prayers and support are deeply appreciated. She faced some significant struggles recently due to a medication mix that did more harm than good. After some time in the hospital to find a new balance, things seem to be looking much better so far.
So Many Good Things Happening!
While the logistics are moving, the ministry itself is thriving. Here is what’s happening:
- LIVE TACO Training is Back: I missed being able to teach because of last years troubles, but next Saturday, we are relaunching our training class with a brand-new format.
- The first four weeks focus on Purpose and Character.
- The second four weeks focus on Strategic Growth and Implementation.
- We are asking for a $25 suggested donation this time; we’ve found that when people invest a little bit, they stay more committed to the course.
- YouTube Success: My channel has seen a recent uptick in growth, and I’m excited to start a new series called, “Discover Your Purpose”. It’s based on the (very well received) talk I gave at ReachConf, so if you know someone struggling with their “why,” please send them that way.
- Thursday Streams Return: I paused them for January to figure out the YouTube series, but it’s back now and this week features one of my favourite segments (which we haven’t done in forever!): Tokyo Treat Unboxing.
A Milestone: 5 Years of Miracles
Finally, Monday, March 16th marks my 5th Stream-iversary! It is hard to believe it has been five years of God’s faithfulness and regular miracles. This ministry started by His will, and it remains totally dependent on Him.
I want to do something special to celebrate, but I’m still brainstorming. If you have any fun ideas for a 5-year celebration stream, please let me know!
